The ultimate romantic destination, Venice was our first choice when a client invited us to arrange a magnificent ball to celebrate her marriage.
The occasion began with the bride and groom exchanging their vows in a recently restored 14th century palazzo. Decorated with marble cherubs and frescos by Tiepolo and Tintoretto, it provided a breathtaking setting for the very moving ceremony. Then, following a champagne reception, the wedding party processed along the Grand Canal in a flotilla of gondolas and sleek water taxis to a surprise destination - a stunning pink palazzo with a private pontoon. Greeted by heralds sounding their horns, a host of carnival characters, fire jugglers and waiting staff dressed in magnificent 18th century costumes, guests were immediately immersed in an authentic carnival atmosphere. Inside, waiters on monocycles served bellini cocktails while birds of paradise on stilts distributed carnival masks in silver and gold. During the wedding banquet, held in a candlelit ballroom, guests were serenaded by opera singers and entertained with the performance of an hilarious song which charted the couple's path to love.
